How do I start?

Welcome to the Tainoke National University student web portal if you are here then that means you are enrolled at TNU and you are looking how to start with your education here. This is simple just begin by picking your classes. Tainoke National has countless classes in many subjects but remember to pick classes that will count toward your major or classes that are general education classes. You pick your classes by clicking on Course Catalog on the left hand navigation bar. If also look closey you will see that your major course requirements are all included in a Course Module labeled after your Major. For example a History major can choose to enroll in the History Module rather than manually clicking on each class needed. Remember than since we are an online university all courses are offered all the time so you never have to worry about missing a chance to take that interesting or required course.

Each one of you will also recieve an Advisor, typically a Professor with knowledge in your major. They will guide you through the steps to take classes, what you need to take and help you with any and all questions about signing up for classes, taking classes, or any other questions you may have. Also if you have general questions please feel free to use the "contact College" button also located on the left navigation bar.

I Enrolled in Classes Now What?

Well now that you have sign up and have been approved for certain classes you can now start attending those classes. You can attend classes by clicking on the "My Enrolled Classes" button in the left navigation bar. these classes all have a required time limit which means you will be required to attend every second worth of class, something not many other universities require. But since our classes are online being sick at home doesn't prevent you from going to class, also if you truely are too sick for class you can always make up a class by just signing in and studying/attending later.

In fact all of our classes can be acessed at your own pace which helps students learn better. Each class will have assements which are examinations or other required coursework. Please pay attention to both assignments due and what your professors has to say, they may email you and tell you a research paper is due at a different date or that you have a new assignment not listed in the syllabus. Your "My Enrolled Classes" page will show you exactly how many minutes you have left in each class before you are allowed to take the Final exam/Finish the class. this doesn't mean you can use more time for studying and reassessing each class information before an exam.

What does the Web Portal Offer Beside Classes?

This area also features all of the information that you will need during your tenure here at TNU. Everything from course catalogs, to your class schedule, to any transcript requests you may have is available here at the student web portal. As students we encourage you search out anything you might need here on this site. You will take all of your online courses here, as well as sign up for classes prior to each semester. If you need to purchase any books or clothing we offer a wide variety of clothing at the student store. If any of your personal information needs to be changed or if you would like to change your password this is where you will go to manage your student account.

This student web portal also provides a place for students to look into extracurricular activities including joining student groups. TNU has student organizations from fraternal societies to activist groups and there are even community service and sports groups to join all here at the student web portal.
